ONLY VENDORS WITH THEIR OWN TENTs CAN HAVE A BOOTH. PLEASE CALL DARIA AT 845-562-2034. IT IS SHAPING UP TO BE THE GREENEST EVENT ORANGE COUNTY HAS EVER SEEN.Directions From Ulster County:Take NY State Thruway (I-87) or NY Route 9W South to Route I-84, go west on I-84 to Exit 5, Maybrook. Turn left onto New York Route 208. Take first right at traffic light, County Route 99. Go about 4 miles to New York Route 416. Turn left on to Route 416. From Middletown: Take Route 211 toward Montgomery. Turn right onto Route 416. Route 416 in directly across from the entrance to the Orange County Airport. From the South: NY State Thruway North (I-87) to Exit 16 - Harriman to Route 17M. Go east on New York 17M to Goshen. Take Exit 124B north. Follow New York Route 207 thru Goshen and continue towards Montgomery/Campball Hall/Hamptonburgh to stone railroad underpass. Take a left fork onto New York Route 416. Once on Route 416 there are three entrances to Thomas Bull Park. You take the entrance marked Grove Street. Then take the second right into the Day Camp - this is where the event will be located. There will be signs posted for the Earth & Water Festival. This Saturday, June 7th from 11am-6pm at the Thomas Bull Memorial Park Day Camp in Hamptonburgh NY on RT 416, Orange Environment, Orange County Government and the Orange County Water Authority are hosting Orange County Earth and Water Festival. This will be the greenest event Orange County has ever seen! The festival is bringing together over 85 local green vendors and exhibitors, Hybrids including a hydrogen car, a farmers market, day long environmental speakers, a tree planting ceremony, a Youth Village with loads of educational activities and crafts, a Snake and Reptile Show, African Drumming, music by Gaiawolf and the Arm of the Sea will perform “Turtle Island Medicine Show”. Other Performers are: Rebel Red and Barry Adelman -Music for Humanity. Sponsors will be giving out 500 Canvass Shopping Bags and 1000 Norway Spruce seedlings to plant at home. In the food area, compostable plates and cups will be used by participants, recycled properly and disposed of at a local municipal composting facility. There will also be the PermiBus complete with solar power, greywater system, compost toilet, 3 dogs and a clutch of chickens.
