Welcome to Orange Environment
<<<<<<< Orange Environment, Inc., is sponsoring a conversation with Dr. Michael Edelstein, Co-President of Orange Environment, Inc. and past president of the organization for over 20 years, on "Improving The Way We Do SEQRA -- the New York State Envirnmental Quality Review Act." The event will take place upstairs at the Barnsider Tavern, 1372 Kings Highway, Sugar Loaf, New York at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening on February 23, 2010. Dr. Edelstein teaches Environmental Impact Assessment courses at Ramapo College in New Jersey. As president of Orange Environment he has had a wide range of experience in applying the principles of SEQRA when participating in the review process for many development proposals here in the Mid-Hudson Valley. His comments will be drawn from his 27 years of experience with SEQRA and its effectiveness as a tool for citizen participation and government decision-making when c onsidering the impacts of major developments on our land, traffic, air, water, sewage, open space, and quality of life. Members of the public are invited to join us for this very informative discussion.
